Week 14 (Apr 26-28)
This week we’ll get some more practice using multiple regression by completing the promotional display case study on Monday. On Wednesday we’ll start talking about models purely or primarily for prediction.

In-class activities, case studies, exercises, etc for this week
We will work on these in breakout rooms. I suggest having one person share their screen and serve as note-taker, or quickly sharing a Google doc so you can work together. The activities will be a component of your next homework.
Activity 1: Evaluating the effect of a promotional display (continued)
Activity 2: Work through the predictive modeling walkthrough up to but not including the material on stepwise selection. Once you have completed the walkthrough, try your hand at building and evaluating your own predictive models by adding or transforming covariates, adding interaction terms more judiciously, etc. You should evaluate at least three new models.
